  2. If your Airport is not yet turned on, click "Turn AirPort On". Tutorial Step 2 - Turning Airport ON from Menu Bar
  3. Click on the indicator icon again, and a wireless network survey menu will appear: Tutorial Step 4 - Menu bar Wireless network survey menu, demo wifi network highlighted
  4. Click on the wireless network you want to connect to.
  5. When prompted, enter the password for the network, and click OK: Tutorial Step 5 - Wireless network connection password entry window (Connection will be established.)

  7. You're now connected to the network! Assuming your wireless network is connected to the Internet, you should now be online.

You should now be able to connect your Mac to any locally-available wireless network, at home, in coffee shops, hotels, and even on commercial airline flights! As always, please post your feedback, questions, suggestions, etc in the comments section at the bottom of this blog post! Thanks.
